OUR IDEOLOGY

Compassion: We strive to eliminate the defamation of wild canids and elicit empathy for the persecuted. We accomplish this by building perspective and bridging the gap between humans and animals using pathos.

Honest Education: Education is the top priority for successful wild canid conservation. Our approach focuses on scientific facts to highlight the importance of wolves and coyotes in the ecosystem and dispel common misconceptions about them.

Advocacy: We cannot do what we do without the collaboration and dedication of fellow wildlife activists. Our advocacy method relies primarily on producing petitions and contacting elected officials about issues that threaten the safety of wild canids.

SPECIES OF FOCUS

AMERICAN RED WOLF

The American red wolf is the world's most endangered species of wolf. With fewer than 30 individuals remaining in the wild--existing only in a small pocket of North Carolina--red wolves are at significant risk of extinction.

MEXICAN GRAY WOLF

The Mexican gray wolf (or Lobo) is a critically endangered subspecies of the gray wolf. Currently, approximately 280 Mexican gray wolves remain in the wild throughout New Mexico, Arizona, and Mexico.

NORTHWESTERN WOLF

The Northwestern wolf (commonly referred to as the "Canadian wolf") is arguably the archetype of gray wolves and the most maligned. While federally protected in the U.S. except for Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.

COYOTE

The coyote is a remarkable canid. Known for their high intelligence, adaptability, and 100% monogamy, the coyote has actively expanded their range and can be found all across North America except for Hawaii.

Once people understand the true nature of wolves and their plight in the wild, that's one step closer to saving them.
