Mission Statement
Conserving the Wolves is a grassroots organization founded in 2017 by wildlife activist Ivy Raen to inspire empathy for wolves through education and advocacy. Since then, our organization has grown under that mindset, alongside opportunities for people to take action and share what they have learned about wolves with others. We aim to provide factual, science-based information regarding wolves and other wild carnivores and dispel common misconceptions about them.
Though wolves are our flagship species, Conserving the Wolves has recently introduced coyotes as another focal species in need of understanding and appreciation.
How We Accomplish Our Mission:
-
Educating the public about wolves and coyotes
-
Encouraging others to take action
-
Petitioning
-
Writing to government agencies and lawmakers
-
Partnering with other pro-wolf and coyote organizations
-
Exposing the cruel treatment of wolves and coyotes
