JUSTICE FOR WYOMING WOLF
A yearling female wolf was tortured and killed by hunter Cody Roberts on February 29th, 2024. Cody Roberts was cited a minuscule $250 for 'being in possession of a live wolf'. However, the penalty for animal cruelty in the state of Wyoming is up to 2 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. This wolf was kept alive to endure prolonged suffering after she was pursued to exhaustion by Cody Roberts' snowmobile. Following being run down, Cody taped her mouth shut and paraded her around in a bar before finally shooting her dead.

BAN WOLF/COYOTE WHACKING
When a hunter in Daniel, Wyoming, allegedly tormented a wolf by pursuing it in a snowmobile and running it over, the cruel practice of 'wildlife whacking' came to light. "Wildlife whacking" (most commonly referred to as "wolf whacking" or "yote whacking") is the practice of using motorized vehicles like snowmobiles or ATVs to intentionally chase down, run over, and kill wild animals. This practice, despite its cruelty, remains legal in Wyoming, as most predatory animals such as coyotes, wolves, foxes, etc have virtually no federal protection.

FIGHT TO RELIST NRM WOLVES
For decades, the U.S Endangered Species List has been a safeguard for wildlife, successfully protecting thousands of plant and animal species through the Endangered Species Act. The gray wolf had been caught in a legal tug-of-war since its first listing in 1974. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) violated the Endangered Species Act (ESA) by using flawed population estimation models and ignoring critical genetic bottlenecks. Federal courts overturned the agency's decision to deny protections after ruling that aggressive state-mandated culling programs directly undermine the long-term biological recovery of Western gray wolves.

SAY NO TO H.R. 4255!
H.R. 4255, introduced by U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, would strip federal protections for the critically endangered Mexican gray wolf, ending recovery for this imperiled species. This bill is one of the most dangerous there is, threatening the Mexican wolf's extinction and diminishing every ounce of effort put in by SSP (Species Survival Plan) and AZA SAFE (American Association of Zoos and Aquariums Saving Animals from Extinction) facilities. This bill is reckless and undermines Mexican wolves' sensitive wild populations and the effort put into saving them, all for the interest of the cattle and livestock industries, despite wolves only causing 0.2% of all livestock deaths in the United States.
