A wildlife sanctuary in Anacortes, Washington has been threatened to be shut down because the locals don't want the animals there. The sanctuary is dedicated to providing a safe haven for wolves and wolfdogs, along with various of other exotic species; including sloths, mountain lions, lynxes, skunks, opossums, and more.
If this wildlife sanctuary gets shut down, the animals will most likely be euthanized. These animals need a safe haven and are also important to education regarding the importance of their species.
Currently, a campaign has been set up by the center to which you can donate. The campaign had accumulated over $25,000 worth of donations. By the end of next month, the center must reach its goal of $100,000.
